The Management Committee of the Centre

The Management Committee of the Centre consists of the Chairman, Director and three senior teachers of the Department of Philosophy of the University of Dhaka as members. The Pro-Vice Chancellor is the Ex-Officio Chairman of the Centre. The Director of the Centre is appointed by the Vice Chancellor of the University from amongst the faculties of the Department on the basis of seniority for a period of two years. Two other members are being nominated by him for such a period.

Office of the Centre

Shaheed Dr. G.C. Dev used to sit in Room 2027 of the Arts Building of the University of Dhaka. The same Room has been turned into the Office of the Centre. It may be mentioned that from 1972 to 1980 the Room was used as Dev Memorial Library. This Library has been shifted to another room adjacent to the office of the Department of Philosophy.
